2020 Chevy Camaro SS Gets A New Face

The front facia of 2019 Chevy Camaro SS didn’t have a consistent look with a giant black panel running from side to side (pictured above). Thankfully for 2020, Chevy has corrected this styling mishap with a newly revised front facia, which incorporates a much needed body color panel. It no longer looks as if a 20 year old purchased body parts off Ebay to try and make his LS look like an SS.

The 2020 Camaro SS sports an updated new front fascia derived from the beloved 2019 SEMA concept car.

As Chevy likes to put it, the new Camaro SS front-end appearance is based on the distinctive design of the Camaro Shock show vehicle that debuted last fall at the SEMA Show. The SS now features a repositioned bowtie emblem in the upper grille and a body-color bar between the upper and lower grilles. “Customers spoke, and we listened,” said Steve Majoros, director of Chevrolet passenger car and crossover marketing. “The overwhelmingly positive reaction to the Shock’s stylized design helped prompt its transition from concept to production.”

Well I’m for one, very happy they listened;) Plus the Camaro gets a few other cool updates for 2020 like the new LT1 V-8 model and a 10-speed option with the 3.6L V-6. Overall, some great updates.
